Lovense 'Twitter Orgy' Engages 40K Accounts

SINGAPORE — Lovense has announced this weekend's “Twitter Orgy" promo event involved 40,642 accounts on the platform.

The Lovense Orgy began at midnight (EDT) on May 22, and lasted 24 hours. Anyone could take part by tweeting or retweeting the official hashtags to activate the unique vibrations of the toys, whose owners could experience simultaneously in real time.

Throughout the event, 32,123 people connected their Lovense devices, noted a rep, with a peak of 4,106 simultaneous connections.

The hashtag #lovenseorgy trended on U.S. Twitter, rising up to 44th place in popularity.

Lovense CEO Dan Liu said, ”We are very grateful to all the participants of the Lovense 'Orgy.' We received a huge number of positive responses and requests to hold the event more often.”
