Joanna Angel Joins Pilot Episode of Clubhouse Chat Series

LOS ANGELES — Joanna Angel will be the featured guest for the pilot episode of the Clubhouse chat series "Sex Profiteers," hosted by Magalie Rheault, COO of Evil Angel, and Cyndi Pham, CEO of Dirty Hen, airing Wednesday at 6 p.m. (PDT).

"Sex Profiteers" was recently selected as a finalist for the platform's inaugural "Creator First" accelerator program.

"It's an honor to be named as a 'Creator First' finalist. This provides an incredible opportunity for us as an industry to have our voices heard on a platform outside of the adult space. Joanna is a powerhouse entrepreneur that basically wrote the handbook for crossover success and I think that listeners are going to gain a lot from her breadth of experience,” Pham said.

Angel, a prolific performer, director and entrepreneur, "is largely credited with popularizing and proving the financial viability of the alt-porn genre," noted a rep. "She’ll be discussing how she launched BurningAngel.com and how she parlayed her success in the adult space to mainstream with multiple acting cameos, her Doom’s Whiskey line and as the author of two books: 'Club 42' and 'Night Shift.'"

Angel enthused about the upcoming interview. "I'm excited to try out this platform. I’ve heard so much about it and now I’ll finally be able to try it out. I look forward to sharing all of my filthy knowledge with everyone,” she said.

Rheault said she and Pham are "overjoyed" to host Angel.

“She’s the best possible person to have for our pilot show, as we’ll be exposed to a lot of traffic. She has so much to share and talk about and I truly believe this is the type of content people on the app want to hear about,” said Rheault.

Angel will field questions from the audience during the broadcast and participate in giveaways.
