MONTREAL — Adult Time’s Pure Taboo has announced that its 2021 content slate will include a more diverse array of lesbian offerings.
Producers for the label, which specializes in "'forbidden relations' films for discerning viewers,” noted a rep, were inspired by the success of its "Lesbian Revenge" series.
"'Lesbian Revenge' is our most popular spinoff series for Pure Taboo,” Adult Time Director of Marketing Frank Stacy said. “The project was initially planned as a limited six-episode run, but due to high demand, it became an ongoing line with monthly updates.”
Going forward, Pure Taboo will no longer produce "Lesbian Revenge" as a separate series and will instead diversify the imprint’s all-girl content by opening up its production opportunities to a wider array of themes to meet customer demand.
“I think fans at this point in time wanted to see content that, while still being taboo, is not always tied into a specific plotline,” Stacy noted. “This will give our writing team more freedom and a larger sandbox to play in."
