Japanese Performer Yui Hatano Releases NFT Collection

TOKYO — Japanese adult star Yui Hatano has announced her first NFT collection on non-fungible token marketplace Dodo NFT will be released on Thursday.

The collection will be unveiled with a livestream starting at 1 p.m. (PDT) followed by trading at 2 p.m.

The limited-edition photo albums each include images with varying degrees of exclusivity, from common to super rare. Fans will find out which cards they have minted after purchasing and can trade images shortly after the sale.

“This isn’t Hatano’s first time selling collectibles to fans,” said a rep. “In 2015, a Taiwanese public transport card company issued 30,000 limited-edition transit cards with her likeness, which sold out in just hours.”

Hatano’s rep added that “the new creator economy is all about going direct to fans — and that’s what Yui intends to do with her limited-edition collection.”
