Newcomer Jamie Jett Profiled in NightMoves Magazine

LOS ANGELES — Newcomer Jamie Jett was recently profiled for the May issue of NightMoves Magazine’s “Entertainer Spotlight” column.

Written by Moutasem Seyam, the piece discusses Jett’s personal and professional lives and how she combats the vilification and stigmatization of sex work.

“Most sex-negativity in the U.S. is based on the regressive idea that sex is shameful, and that premise is easy to ignore because I disagree with it so fundamentally,” Jett said. “I believe that the purpose of life is to maximize pleasure, so having sex with beautiful people instead of working a 9-5 desk job is idyllic to me.”

The article also documents how adult entertainment fits into Jett’s long-term career goals, which include law school. “I’m hoping to work in adult film for a few years, attend law school with the goal of becoming a sex workers’ rights lawyer and then work on the movement to decriminalize and de-stigmatize sex work in our society. And even as a lawyer, I’ll probably shoot a few scenes a year for the fun of it.”

Reflecting on the article, Seyam took a moment to share how Jett stood out as a performer.

“Performers like Jamie Jett bring much-needed energy to the adult industry,” Seyam said. “This unstoppable and alluring attitude shone through a career that started to rise in a pandemic year.”

Jett shared how her experience with NightMoves was an overall positive experience.

“I can’t wait to attend my first NightMoves Awards show, the next time it’s held,” Jett said. “I want nothing more than to meet the community and fans who love NightMoves — I think there’s nothing sexier than adult magazines, and everything becomes more erotic on a printed page.”
