Transfixed Debuts New Spinoff Series 'Transgressive Films'

MONTREAL — The XBIZ award-winning studio imprint Transfixed debuts its first spinoff with today's launch of "Transgressive Films," a storyline-driven series for Adult Time from the creators of Pure Taboo.

The series was conceived, noted a rep, "in response to the trans-women-on-cis-women brand’s wildly-popular 21-episode run [and] offers viewers an eye-opening peek into the many struggles, challenges and achievements of trans individuals within the adult industry, their communities and society at large."

Adult Time Director of Marketing Frank Stacy described "Transgressive Films" as "a pretty big departure from what you normally see in porn. We are going for raw stories that have a more realistic approach, stories that can feel at times dramatic and at times beautiful, just like life can be."

"We are hoping fans of our other original series like 'True Lesbian' will enjoy this one," he added.

Stacy also noted Adult Time members "have been quite vocal about their personal requests, likes and dislikes on the Transfixed comment forums, which the company’s executives and producers pay close attention to."

"We have exciting plans for the upcoming months for original trans content on Adult Time, including new lesbian episodes for 'Transfixed' featuring some of the most high-profile talent in the business, both cis and trans," Stacy said. "Our users have made it clear what kind of content they would want to see, and we are aiming to spend the next year exceeding those expectations."

Current and upcoming episodes feature Emma Rose and Draven Navarro; Korra Del Rio with Ember Snow; Jenna Gargles, Gracie Jane and reigning XBIZ "Performer of the Year" Dante Colle; and current XBIZ "Trans Performer of the Year" Casey Kisses with Johnny Hill.

Season Two of Transfixed is set for a Summer debut. Visit Transfixed online and on Twitter for the latest updates.
