LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning Brooklyn Gray is the newly crowned Twistys "Treat of the Month" and has received a spotlight shoot from director-photographer Eva Gala.
A rep described the honor as "a crowning achievement" for the performer "after a stellar year of exceptional performances, one of many more to come."
"She is a true talent, and a deeply passionate performer. Her 'Treat of the Month' showcases her background in acting, dance and singing, set in the dark, sultry-grime of a DTLA warehouse," continued the rep. "Brooklyn juxtaposes grunge with striking radiance and grace, dancing amidst silks in a smoke-suffused room; then, restrained, bound in bondage by merlot-hued ribbon. Lastly, she enlivens the warehouse’s desolate confines, wearing no more than a corset; a myriad of wing-like fabrics billowing from her torso. Brooklyn brings a vivacious tenacity to all her projects, and leaves you feeling full, but wanting more."
Gray thanked the studio for the recognition.
"Twistys has given me the chance to show the world a little more about who I am and showcase myself in a very honest way, which means so much to me," she said of her showcase. "It was grimy; it was exhilarating; it was edgy, and chic. The crew was phenomenal. It was a lot of hard work and these scenes set the tone for the quality and body of work I’ve yet to create.”
Gray also noted she is now under new management.
"I've worked so hard to get here, and this is just the beginning," she noted. "I'm now self-booking and have cultivated a phenomenal private management team who truly believe in me and see my maximum potential; I am so blessed to be working alongside them. The world is about to see what Brooklyn Gray is really about."
