HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Alexander "Monstar" Raymond, the co-owner of Star Factory PR, will attend the WonderCon@Home comic book, science fiction and film convention on Saturday at 1 p.m. (PDT) to lend his expertise to a panel titled "How to Get News Coverage."
"What makes the difference between an item that will get news coverage, previews and interviews and what doesn't?" reads the panel description. "A lot of publishers have no idea what to submit to the press, how to submit it or why they are being overlooked for coverage."
The panel will stream on the Comic-Con International YouTube channel.
"I was honored to participate in the panel," said Raymond. "In the constantly evolving landscape of creating brand awareness, I look forward to contributing my experiences to the conversation. I believe even those not focused on the geek sphere of entertainment will find strategies to assist them."
A rep noted Raymond is "currently working on multiple comic book and horror projects that will begin to come to fruition later this year. The first is a podcast tentatively titled 'Monstar Presents The House of Flesh and Blood,' a show covering the horror genre, especially the gothic horror films of the 1960s and '70s."
