MONTREAL — Noir Male brand ambassador Dillon Diaz recently spoke to the LQBTQ news outlet Edge Media Network about his forthcoming directorial debut for the studio and dropped a Twitter teaser for the title, "The Gayborhood," this morning.
He will also host an IG Live event Sunday at 11 a.m. (PDT) on the Noir Male Instagram page.
Diaz was a 2021 XBIZ Awards nominee for "Gay Performer of the Year," and recently spoke exclusively to XBIZ about shifting behind the camera and effecting change in adult; click here to read that story.
"The Gayborhood," which Diaz also wrote and co-directed with Ricky Greenwood, stars August Alexander and Zario Travezz and goes live on March 26.
"I'm proud to be working with Noir Male to advance men on color behind the camera and appreciate Edge Media for wanting to highlight the work we’re doing,” said Diaz.
"It's exciting knowing fans will see my first co-directed scene soon. The teaser trailer is just that — a little tease of what they can fully enjoy when it releases on March 26. But this is just the beginning; I’m back in the director’s chair for Noir Male in April and look forward to applying all I’ve learned."
As a brand ambassador, Diaz's role "offers him expanded duties in front of and behind the camera, enhancing the brand," noted a rep. "Dillon lends his voice and perspective to the studio and engages with the Noir Male audience to truly represent men of color and their fantasies."
