HighOnLove Taps Donna Faro for VP of Sales, Marketing

MONTREAL — HighOnLove has added industry vet Donna Faro as the company’s new VP of sales and marketing.

The company called Faro “a sexual wellness industry disruptor” who is largely credited for elevating and removing the stigma from pleasure products on television.

At LELO, she was able to bring products to a TV shopping sales channel with the launch of “EVINE After Dark” on the EVINE network, featuring LELO as its top luxury brand. She started in 2008 in sales, then moved up to senior director of sales and marketing, senior brand advisor and most recently, director of live TV shopping.

HighOnLove offers beauty and sexual wellness products that aim to “elevate the sexual experience” with a unique line of superior grade lubricating oil blends made with cannabis oil. Faro will now work to further expand the brand into the beauty category, the company said.

“Having another opportunity to join a fresh young brand that I believe in is truly unimaginable,” said Faro. “[President and CEO] Angela Mustone’s vision for HighOnLove is so spot-on with what resonates in today’s premium marketplace, so to be invited to join the team is something I am immensely honored and excited by. We have very high hopes for the brand given today’s self-care landscape. We fit perfectly into our categories of beauty, sexual wellness and self-care; however, we have plans to transcend into creating hybrid categories that include all wellness-related products for the most discerning and sophisticated consumers. It couldn’t be a better time for HighOnLove.”

Faro is the winner of the first-ever XBIZ Exec Award for "Senior Leadership" as well as a senior marketing executive and “shopping channel superstar” behind the sexual wellness brand LELO and beauty brand FOREO — where she is credited for having reached $1 million in on-air sales within 24 hours on HSN for FOREO’s first hero product launch, the Luna Mini.

"I'm thrilled to be working with Donna and I'm confident that her years of expertise within the industry will help HighOnLove reach new retailers and expand globally," said Angela Mustone. "She is an ideal fit for the brand and I know she will play a large role in the company's expansion.”

In addition to her success with LELO, Faro is also credited with establishing relationships with TV shopping networks and retailers such as Sephora, Ulta and Urban Outfitters.

Most recently, Faro joined The Shopping Channel’s “Intimately You” expert panel as a regular for a weekly show that was picked up by City TV Network.
