MONTREAL — Adult Time has released its latest Pure Taboo title, “You'll Always Have a Home With Us,” available now.
“Beautiful blonde Paisley Porter shows up at the door of her godparents Lauren Phillips and Dick Chibbles in tears, with the news that her parents have been killed in an accident and she needs a place to stay,” a rep explained. “When the clingy young woman immerses herself into their daily lives, things start to get uncomfortable.”
Adult Time Pre-Production Manager 3X West noted the team enjoys "using Pure Taboo to play with common conventions from mainstream horror and thriller films."
"With this specific episode, we wanted to pay homage to those classic cautionary tales about a stranger joining the family, like ‘The Omen’ and ‘The Red House,'" West said.
“That fear of the safety of 'home' being twisted into something sinister can be very chilling and compelling,” West added.
