LOS ANGELES — The "Hump! 2021" amateur erotic film festival, co-founded and curated by sexpert and author Dan Savage, will screen from January 30 through March 6. Ticketing details are now available.
Last year, organizers canceled a touring version of the fest due to the coronavirus pandemic, pivoted to an online presentation and reorganized their calendar.
"Our annual festival, usually held in November with all-new films and audience ballots, will now be held at the beginning of every year," a festival rep explained last July. "So we’ll see you in January for Hump! 2021... with the same cornucopia of genders, kinks, body types, ages and fetishes."
Ticketing options for the adults-only events include a virtual viewing party with Savage on January 30; a nude-only screening on February 27; a captioned screening on February 28; and screenings scheduled for time zones in Australia, Central Europe and West Africa.
"Hump! celebrates creative sexual expression," noted a festival rep. "Hump! will shock you. Hump! will make you laugh. Hump! will turn you on. But Hump! will also touch you with its sincerity and vulnerability. Hump! wants to change the way you see — and make and share — porn."
