LOS ANGELES — Kink.com and BDSM expert Justine Cross will offer a workshop today for sex workers titled “F*ck Instagram: Empower & Future Proof Your SWer Business.”
“Yes, we all have a love/hate relationship with Instagram, but we are all on it — for now,” said Cross. “This workshop is about how to manage your social media presence with or without Instagram.”
Topics to be covered include:
- Why you should be on Instagram
- Why it doesn't matter if you aren't
- The most up-to-date Instagram Terms Of Use
- Best practices for how to manage Instagram
- Alternatives to Instagram that you should be using
- Monetizing paid social media platforms
Pricing for the workshop is $30, although sex workers are offered a sliding scale from $1-$30 and welcome to “pay what you can afford.”
The workshop will take place tonight at 5 p.m. (PST) and will be recorded. Those unable to attend can forward their registration to workshops@kink.com and they will be added to the recording list.
