BARCELONA — Erika Lust Films has announced an exclusive new directorial collaboration with Casey Calvert involving seven “cinematic adult projects” to be shot throughout 2021.
The planned projects will include two large-scale productions and five medium/short films directed by Calvert to be released on the company's main streaming sites, Lust Cinema and XConfessions.
In addition to directing her own films, Calvert will also help the studio promote and produce other Los Angeles-based adult directors.
“This will give an important boost to Erika Lust's mission to shape a change in the industry by giving opportunities and bigger budgets to female directors in the U.S. and making the most out of the cinematic possibilities of porn,” said a rep.
Calvert described herself as “incredibly honored by the confidence Erika has shown in me by offering me this exclusive contract.”
“Lust Cinema is a truly incredible company to work for, and Erika and her team at Lust are extremely skilled producers and filmmakers,” Calvert added. “I'm really looking forward to the slate of exciting projects we have lined up for this year. I couldn't be happier.”
Erika Lust praised Calvert's filmmaking acumen.
