Dante Colle Pens XBIZ World Op-Ed on Bridging Straight, LGBT Markets

LOS ANGELES — "Sexually fluid leading man" Dante Colle has penned an op-ed for the January issue of XBIZ World about "bridging straight and LGBT stardom and building careers in both worlds," noted a rep.

"Dante is an anomaly in the adult industry in the sense that he didn’t feel pressured to work only in straight or LGBT studios. Male performers are held to a different standard than women when it comes to same-sex scenes, and Dante looks into why this is the case," the rep explained. "After first starting as a gay contract star for a major studio, he paved his own path working in all genres, and hopes this will become the norm for male talent in the industry looking to expand their horizons."

"Dante also discusses the stigmas and why things need to change and what he has personally done to not only succeed but also thrive," continued the rep. "The piece raises many points the industry should really think about when viewing other performers and casting talent in productions."

Colle hopes his op-ed "really makes people think, and brings about change in the industry."

"It would be great to see more male performers walking the path that I did and not being afraid to spread their wings and perform in multiple genres," he added.
