LOS ANGELES — Violet Monroe will lend her expertise to next week's virtual XBIZ Show on a panel titled, "Sexually Fluid: Meeting Consumer Demand for Genre-Defying Content" set for Wednesday, January 13 from 1-2 p.m. (PST).
Monroe transferred from a career in mainstream modeling to adult in 2009 and has filmed for Brazzers, Digital Playground, Evil Angel, Hustler, Kink.com, Legal Porno, Naughty America and Penthouse, among others. Monroe has also appeared in multiple episodes of WoodRocket's "Ask a Porn Star" web series.
Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals will moderate next week's panel, where Monroe will be joined by performers Korra Del Rio and Michael Vegas and XBIZ News Desk Manager JC Adams.
The panel synopsis reads as follows: "The rapid ascendancy of performer-generated content has blurred cisgender norms and the once-rigid lines that defined straight, gay, bi and trans content. Greater acceptance has led to a unique consumer demand. Learn what it takes to come up with genre-defying concepts that better suit the needs of a diverse audience."
Monroe looks forward to exploring the topic.
"As someone who has been in the adult industry for over 11 years now, I’ve built a lot of my career on creating content that doesn’t necessarily align with my own identity,” Monroe said. “Porn is about fantasy, illusion, and it’s something I’ve had to consciously navigate to be successful without compromising myself. I’m excited to discuss this topic and share my experiences alongside my fellow presenters."
