MONTREAL — Aubrey Kate stars opposite Pierce Paris in "The Widow" for Pure Taboo, described as "a potent new dramatic featurette about the tragedy of loss and the hope of being found," from director Joanna Angel.
"Aubrey dazzles in her debut for Pure Taboo as the titular widow who has just lost the love of her life, and looks for solace in a grief support group meeting. She meets widower Pierce, and over time solidifies an intimate bond with him over their shared heartache," noted a rep.
Angel praised her leading lady.
"Aubrey never ceases to amaze me in everything she does. She’s stunningly beautiful, with a ferocious sexual appetite, and this time, I got to see her acting capabilities and I couldn’t be more impressed,” Angel said. "Both she and Pierce completely blew me away; I’m really proud of this project!"

Kate described "The Widow" as "a special project to me."
"I loved working with Joanna on the concept for this, and being on set with her and her crew was truly one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done," said Kate. "I absolutely loved all the different levels of sadness and manipulation my character portrayed. It was a challenge! And I enjoyed every moment of it."
