LOS ANGELES — Organizers of the 2020 AltPorn Awards have announced a virtual ceremony for December 30 starting with an online red carpet at 7 p.m. (PST). Among the perks for ticketed guests is access to an interactive chatroom during the event.
"Back in the first week of March, when the team announced MyFreeCams as exclusive Presenting Sponsor, everyone expected to be having a party in person, but now all are looking forward to getting together digitally," noted a rep.
"The red carpet will be hosted by the incomparable April Flores," the rep continued. "Following the virtual red carpet, the incredible MC Jeffrey Damnit and 'Trophy Goddess' Malice McMunn return to host the ceremony to unveil the winners."
"Yes, everyboody who needs to be in a room together [will be] COVID-tested," the rep added.
Tech details will be emailed privately to ticketed nominee and other VIP guests.
General admission, nominee and MyFreeCam tickets are free; VIP ticketing upgrades can be purchased, which include swag-filled gift bags provided by the show's sponsors. The gift bags will be shipped to nominees and VIPs; several will include "extra-fancy prizes" from sponsors.
