BRUSSELS — The European Commission released today their proposal for the Digital Services Act (DSA), a new EU-wide policy to increase liability for “illegal and harmful content” on online platforms.
Also released today was the Digital Markets Act (DMA), which proposes anti-trust measures against what the European Commission has termed "online gatekeepers" — large companies like Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook.
The European Commission unveiled the new DSA draft via their website, which highlights the “dos” and “donts” under the new proposed guidelines.
