Sunny Rodgers to Host Retail Edition of XBIZ Honors Ceremony

LOS ANGELES — Pleasure products industry vet and clinical sexologist Dr. Sunny Rodgers has been selected as host of next month’s retail edition of the XBIZ Honors ceremony, presented by Satisfyer.

The retail edition of the XBIZ Honors awards will be presented virtually with a live worldwide broadcast on Wednesday, January 13 that will be available to registered members of XBIZ.net.

“I feel incredibly honored to have been given this opportunity to host the XBIZ Honors,” Rodgers said. “It is a privilege to be virtually hosting this celebrated award show that acknowledges so many great individuals and their accomplishments. I know this year’s show will once again unify our industry family and will serve to inspire us all.”

Rodgers is an author, speaker and consultant who has worked in the wellness industry designing intimate pleasure products and managing private label product development since 2000. Last October, Rodgers launched her own consulting firm, Sunsplash Media Group. She holds a Ph.D. in human sexuality, a master of arts in clinical sexology and is an accredited sexual health educator and professional clinical counselor.

Rodgers also is an ambassador for the American Sexual Health Association and a regular lecturer for the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She has hosted a popular weekly show “Ask The Doc” on Playboy Radio, has been an expert guest on TV and radio programs and is a regular contributor to HuffPost, Men's Health, Cosmo, Bustle and other online and print publications.

The virtual XBIZ Honors ceremony will unveil the winners of the retail edition of the XBIZ Exec Awards along with select categories from the 2021 XBIZ Awards. XBIZ Honors along with the adult industry's biggest night, the XBIZ Awards, which is set for a worldwide broadcast on XBIZ.tv on January 14, will cap off the biggest virtual expo for pleasure product and retail industries, the ANME/XBIZ Show, which is set for January 11-15.

“Sunny is one of the industry’s most beloved personalities who continues to inspire her colleagues with her passionate work ethic and bold ventures that are all driven by her mission of promoting sexual wellness,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “We’re thrilled to have Sunny bring her bright spirit as host of our debut virtual edition of XBIZ Honors.”
