HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve Pictures has announced they have digitally remastered their 2001 feature “Emerald Rain” for re-release in HD.
Directed by Nicholas Steele, “Emerald Rain” features Evan Stone, Ava Vincent, Rita Faltoyano, Dale DaBone, John Decker and Suzy Sweet, among other stars.
“Set against an exotic jungle backdrop, the film can now be seen in its full cinematic glory,” said a rep. The 2K remaster is now available on VOD.
“Emerald Rain” stars Stone as Tyler McCabe, an adventurer who travels to the Amazon jungle to continue his environmental studies. Meanwhile, his former flame, Eden James )Vincent) and her fiancé, wealthy businessman William Benson (DaBone) decide to join the environmental cause and add purpose to their lives. They encounter Shady O'Gray (Decker), a merciless land developer determined to ruin the same land McCabe is trying to save.
“Amid lush jungles and breathtaking waterfalls, an enthralling story of good and evil unfolds as McCabe and his supporters struggle to save the forests they love,” the rep added. “Gorgeous natural settings provide the backdrop for the sex play between some of the hottest stars in adult film, and continues to find a following after two decades."
Rachel Vigneaux, executive producer for Adam & Eve, described the feature as "a beautiful film that wasn't available in the most optimal format."
"We felt it deserved an upgrade. Our remastering of the original film really allows the heat of these incredible stars in a natural environment to pop onscreen," Vigneaux added. “It’s a must-own for fans and newcomers alike."
