NakedSword Sets Star-Studded 20th Anniversary Virtual Party

SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword will cap its yearlong 20th anniversary celebration with a virtual party on Sunday, December 6, beginning at 4 p.m. (PST), hosted by the company's Tim Valenti and Sister Roma and featuring a starry mix of industry and mainstream entertainment guests.

Longtime NakedSword director mr. Pam, publicist Mike Stabile and performers Calvin Banks, Bruce Beckham, Theo Ford, Dakota Payne and Wesley Woods are set to join comedian and drag star Jackie Beat, comedian Margaret Cho, drag legend Miss Coco Peru, "RuPaul's Drag Race" breakout star Shangela and musician Jake Shears, among others.

Comedian and activist Kathy Griffin is also on the guest list; Griffin was gifted an actual sword and dubbed "Swordswoman of the Year" by the company when she hosted an industry event over a decade ago; she remains the only individual to receive the honor. Griffin has frequently referenced the sword in her act.

Performer Alam Wernik and directrix Chi Chi LaRue will serve as celebrity DJs for a program that will include "hilarious clips and sexy performances [and] a special drag performance by 'Miss Pineapple 2020' Gemini Dai, aka Dakota Payne," noted a rep, as well as "lots of porn swag giveaways."

In addition to co-hosting the platform's long-running interview program "The Tim and Roma Show" alongside Sister Roma, Valenti is the founder and CEO of NakedSword.

"It's incredible to think that NakedSword is 20 years old. It's amazing to see the company I started grow into what it is today," he said. "It's only fitting that we do a party to commemorate this moment and what a party it will be!"

"We really pulled out all the stops to make this virtual celebration something special," he continued. "From porn stars, celebs, even a Senator, we have it all. I personally invite all fans, blogs, affiliates and industry to join us for our one-of-kind virtual anniversary party."
