Vibio Launches Wearable, App-Controlled Vibrator 'Frida'

LONDON — Vibio has announced the launch of new app-controlled, wearable vibrator Frida.

“With the current COVID-19 crisis and lockdowns causing issues and creating many long-distance relationships, keeping the spark alive and finding a way to enjoy some quality intimate time together has become harder,” said a rep. “This has now got a step easier with the launch of Vibio’s app-controlled Frida.”

Frida connects to the users' phone via Bluetooth. Through the app, users can control the intensity and speed of different vibration patterns, allow their partner to control it regardless of their location and set pleasure targets and challenges to explore their sexuality together.

“Frida takes the shame and guilt from pleasure and makes it a shareable experience with the objective of normalizing it.” the rep added.

Frida, the rep explained, is “anatomically designed — that means it fits where it’s supposed to — and wearable; the labia hold it in place so you can even wear it under your panties." The device is "made for double stimulation — for clit, labia and the opening of the vagina — waterproof, discreet, lightweight and app-controlled for solo or partner play."

As part of the development of Frida, Vibio said they engaged with a number of vagina- and vulva-having consumers to ensure that it was a product that they wanted and enjoyed; the feedback, said the rep, was simple.

“Great orgasm,” one customer reported, according to the company. “I loved the fact that the orgasm was not followed by the rush of taking the product out quickly; I could actually leave it there.”
