Wesley Woods Guests on Trixie Mattel & Katya Podcast

LOS ANGELES — Wesley Woods is the featured guest on a recent episode of "The Bald and the Beautiful," the recently launched podcast hosted by comedians and drag performers Trixie Mattel and Katya.

Titled "Deceptively Old at Arby's with Wesley Woods," and running 62 minutes, the hosts query Woods about his recent retirement from adult after an acclaimed four-year run and his current and future plans, among many other topics.

"I met Trixie at one of her 'RuPaul's Drag Race' viewing parties in DTLA," Woods told XBIZ. "I was such a big fan of hers, but I didn't realize she knew all about me, too. We connected immediately and just stayed in touch."

Mattel will occasionally retweet clips from Woods' oeuvre "to remind people that she really is a gay man," laughed Woods. "I really appreciate that someone with her platform and social media reach would do that."

Although Woods had never met co-host Katya before appearing on the podcast, he found they had much in common. "I think you can hear it in the interview," he said. "We really related to each other and I think you can tell. The interview isn't about any one specific thing, it just bounces all over the place. We had so much fun! I hope people enjoy it."

Woods' episode of "The Bald and the Beautiful" can also be found on YouTube.
