Jamie Jett Guests on Latest Episode of 'And Now We Drink'

LOS ANGELES — Newcomer Jamie Jett is the featured guest on the latest episode of Matt Slayer's "And Now We Drink," her first podcast interview.

"It’s been a season of ‘firsts’ for the pre-law student turned adult performer, who filmed her initial porn scenes in October, scored a mainstream media interview with MEL Magazine about proposed changes to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and makes her podcast debut on Slayer’s program."

Jett enthused about the experience.

"The show was as much fun to record as it is to listen to, although it’s probably going to be a liability if I ever run for office,” she said. “Most of the episode revolves around libertine hedonism, so we talked guns and kink and politics, of course. We started with my post-porn Ivy League law school plans, and ended up with drug decriminalization and polyamory. Matt Slayer is hilarious. It’s hard to make Zoom call feel like a dive bar booth, but Matt did it."

“On one serious note," she continued, "I think that the more discourse about labor protections for sex workers that we have in the industry, the better. As a performer doing the most visible form of sex-related work there is, I think that should be at the top of my priority list in every conversation I have on air — so it’s also a theme in the episode.”

Slayer echoed Jett's enthusiasm.

"It was an absolute pleasure having my future legal counsel Jamie Jett on the podcast," he said. "We came up with a great legal defense for my alleged crimes. Seriously, Jamie is a riot. We talked about everything from FOSTA-SESTA to a near-death experience during a public threesome involving a rattlesnake. I’m seriously impressed with Jamie and expect her to be a big star in our industry. I promise I’m not just saying that to get a discount on legal fees."
