LAS VEGAS — Cosplay cam star and content creator Catjira returned to Playboy Plus earlier this month for her third photo shoot, titled "Toil & Trouble," with photography by Marcos Rivera.
The theme "pays homage to the great women of Hollywood past like actresses Hedy Lemarr and Tippi Hedren plus filmmaker Anna Biller with Hammer horror and noir film sprinkled in," a rep explained, and added that the "bewitching makeup" was by Laura Elise Contreras.
"Like Catjira’s other sets, she was very hands-on in her latest shoot, and it even features décor from her home and her grandmother’s vintage jewelry," continued the rep. "'Toil & Trouble' is all about the power of women, which can be erotic and scary at the same time."
Catjira teased her social media followers with BTS content from the shoot, which is viewable now to Playboy Plus members and will become available to all Playboy members on Saturday.
“The idea behind the set is being a powerful seductress who’s in complete control,” the performer said. “I’m honored that Playboy, one of the biggest adult and erotic platforms in the world, gave me the opportunity to do another set this year [and] creative control over the set and images. I think this one might be the best of all three sets. It was weeks of planning and coming up with the concept, but it’s really amazing."
Catjira will stage a Playboy Plus Instagram takeover Friday to promote the new photoset.
She is also featured in the November issue of XBIZ World with an op-ed, titled "The Road from Cam Model to Playboy Muse: How 2020 Became the Year of Catjira," and photos from the "Toil & Trouble" shoot.
