ANME, XBIZ Join Forces for January Virtual Show

LOS ANGELES — The adult industry’s leading B2B events — ANME and XBIZ Retreat — are teaming up to present the largest-ever virtual show, slated for Jan. 11-15, 2021.

The ANME/XBIZ show will bring together the best of both worlds with ANME’s expansive slate of exhibitors and XBIZ Retreat’s signature one-on-one meetings and boundless networking opportunities, to deliver the biggest virtual event for the adult retail industry.

Helmed by the pioneering pleasure product companies CalExotics, Doc Johnson and Nasstoys, ANME is the biannual go-to trade show, which was postponed this summer due to the pandemic. The “founders” shared their excitement about ANME’s return in virtual form.

“We at ANME are so excited to partner with XBIZ to host the January trade show virtually,” Doc Johnson COO Chad Braverman said. “To be able to have the show during these times is a huge feat, and we’re grateful that we can prioritize safety without compromising the industry’s opportunity to showcase its latest and greatest products.”

Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics, added, “Our team at CalExotics is extremely excited about working with XBIZ for our first-ever ANME/XBIZ show. This is a great opportunity for our industry to connect, stay in touch and learn about new products. We look forward to seeing everyone at the show!”

Having participated in XBIZ Retreat’s first virtual edition in August, Nasstoys President Elliot Schwartz said that he’s looking forward to the ANME/XBIZ collaboration.

“Nasstoys is thrilled to join forces with XBIZ alongside the other ANME founders to bring the first-ever virtual trade show for the adult retail industry,” he said. “Following our participation in the inaugural virtual XBIZ Retreat, we are confident that XBIZ will make this a successful and fruitful virtual trade show with productive buyers’ meetings and fun and engaging extracurricular interactive events. We at Nasstoys couldn’t be happier to be back working with key ANME and XBIZ staff to produce a great virtual event and to keep the great novelty shows alive until we all dust off our booths and safely meet again in Burbank.”

Hot on the heels of the virtual XBIZ Retreat’s successful maiden run over the summer, organizers are gearing up for a much bigger version of the event when it returns as ANME/XBIZ in January.

“XBIZ is very pleased to partner with ANME on what is bound to be a monumental event that’s reflective of the industry’s resilience and ability to adapt,” XBIZ Founder and Publisher Alec Helmy said. “We look forward to collaborating with the founders to leverage our respective strengths in empowering the adult retail community.”

ANME/XBIZ is slated to unite the who's-who of the adult industry via an interactive video chat platform for participants to conduct business and network. With packed schedules of one-on-one meetings and evening entertainment, participants can also interact at their leisure, much like an in-person trade show.

“I’m thrilled that the founders have entrusted XBIZ as a partner for this groundbreaking collaboration,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “We can’t wait to kick off 2021 with a bang by bringing together the industry’s best and brightest for an unforgettable virtual event.”

ANME/XBIZ will coincide with the adult industry's biggest night, the 2021 XBIZ Awards, which is set for a worldwide broadcast via XBIZ.tv, as well as the virtual edition of XBIZ Honors that will recognize the year’s XBIZ Exec Awards nominees along with select award categories from the XBIZ Awards show.
