MONTREAL — Adult Time, Joanna Angel and Burning Angel have announced the release of “Lana,” co-starring Angel and real-life partner Small Hands.
Shot entirely in quarantine, “Lana” has been called by a rep “a passion project by the porn power couple — a single-setting thriller where the alluring Angel gets possessed and is under the spell of the ghost of an old madam — that’s sure to please the duo’s most fervent alt-porn fans.”
Taglined “Don’t Let Her In,” the feature, the rep added, “plays like a clandestine sex tape with a voyeuristic approach to filmmaking.”
Angel, who directed the scenes, is proud of the homemade achievement.
“The entire experience of making this movie during the pandemic will always be very special to me,” said Angel. “Small Hands and I spent an entire month on it, with just each other, transforming every nook and cranny in our house into a set using anything and everything we had around — and figuring out how to get creative with whatever was available at Target curbside pickup.”
“We got to do what we normally don’t get to do when making a movie in the typical way it’s done on set, and that was take our time,” she continued. “Because, well, we sure had a lot of it. This was a true and challenging labor of love.”
