Anna Lee's 2049 Entertainment to Sponsor Virtual XBIZ Miami

LOS ANGELES — Virtual reality director and producer Anna Lee, CEO of 2049 Entertainment, will sponsor next week's virtual edition of XBIZ Miami, and Lee herself will host the panel titled "State of Content Production" on Monday, August 24 at 4 p.m. (PDT).

Lee will also be available at the 2049 Entertainment virtual lounge daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the duration of the trade show, where she will meet with companies interested in producing VR content, and with Canadian talent interested in starring in upcoming productions from the Vancouver-based studio.

"Transitioning to virtual production has been swift and smooth at 2049, having already completed productions locally in Vancouver — where reduced COVID-19 restrictions have made in-person production with protocols possible — and remotely in Los Angeles,” said Lee.

“My primary focus is seeking new talent who will excel in the VR medium; like cam performers. The auditioning process is so much more authentic, because interviewing a performer online lets me see how a performer moves, looks and acts on camera," she said. "Cam performers have a performance style and persona that translates incredibly well to VR, and I am excited to meet as many as possible during the show."

Lee's panel on Monday, "The State of Content Production," will cover "creating and maximizing the value of content shot before and during the recent quarantine, and travel restrictions, which have complicated video production and logistics," a rep explained. "Attendees will learn about the latest production updates and how content-based businesses are circumventing these unprecedented times."

Lee is a 22-year industry veteran; 17 of those in the adult virtual world/VR space as an innovator and thought leader in the genre, and six years of VR porn content production. She recently joined forces with frequent collaborator and VR queen, Ela Darling on ViRo Playspace, an immersive, erotic adult VR application and virtual world.
