TAMPA, Fla. — Nominations have been announced for the 28th annual NightMoves Awards sponsored by NightMoves Magazine. While a panel of experts will determine the "Editor's Choice" recipients, "Fan's Choice" winners will be determined by online voting, in 17 categories, through October 15.
The NightMoves Awards are typically the capstone event to a weekend of activities that include the "Caravan of Stars" nightclub crawl and numerous other in-person events. Organizers have not yet determined whether to cancel or postpone the weekend's festivities due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"The NightMoves Awards are the first awards show to have fans vote and the first to use internet voting. We created many categories that are used industry-wide. We are not yet prepared to cancel our 'star caravans' or live show. If there is a way to get ahead of this virus, safely bring in a few stars and do a live show, we will do what we can to move forward," said Paul Allen, owner of Nightmoves Magazine.
