LOS ANGELES — The third episode of "Cam_Girlfriend," titled "The Doppelgänger," and starring Chaturbate broadcaster Lily LaBeau and Dave Keystone, is now streaming on the Camming Life channel on YouTube.
The series will run 10 episodes and was made possible by Canada's Independent Production Fund. It was created by Ethan Cole, written by Cole and Michael Goldlist and directed by Daniel AM Rosenberg. The producers are Goldlist, Rosenberg and Kennedy.
"Cam_Girlfriend" is "less about sex and more about its implications," a rep explained. "There’s no nudity or gratuitous sexual content. Through a humorous lens, we tell candid stories about the challenges couples face in the digital age."
"There’s never been a time where sex and technology have been more inextricably linked. The internet has made it easier than ever to look for love, but it's as complicated as ever to find it," continued the rep. "What was intended to simplify and streamline love has actually made it more convoluted and elusive. Can we still find deep and meaningful relationships when the internet is selling us a simulated version of them? That’s the universal question at the heart of the show."
"The Doppelgänger" finds the duo caught up in a new comic misadventure.
"After a mishap at a waxing salon puts Chloe out of commission, she and Mike must find an anatomical double to help save their camming business," reads the promotional recap.
