Kheper Games Launches 'I HATE' Game for Adults

SEATTLE — Kheper Games has introduced its newest drinking game for adults called  “I HATE.” The game is adaptable for those couples and groups of friends who are observing social distancing guidelines.

According to the company, there are three ways to play I HATE. As a party game, players can get points when guessing correctly if another player hates or loves something. Players can also take part by drinking when they hate something. As a relationship game, two players earn a point each time they both love or hate the same thing. Two to 12 players can play the game at a time.

Demos of this game and other new games recently launched, or launching soon, can be found here.

“We are excited to bring this game to market because of how humorous and incredibly flexible the game play is,” Kheper Games CEO Brian Pellham said. “You can play this at home with a roommate, partner or family member. It works for smaller get-togethers, date nights, online via video chats or in-person play. As so many countries are coming out of social shutdowns due to COVID-19, we feel that it is very important that we do our part and help people learn to socialize safely with games like this one.”

I HATE includes: 1,200 things to hate (200 cards), 12 I Love/I Hate sticks, a die and game rules.

“If you play in a group, you can wipe down the voting sticks before handing them to each player if you have social distancing concerns,” the company says. “Or if you play this game via Zoom or other video chat, the sticks can be replaced by something each player already has, such as coins of poker cards. Heads or the red cards could be ‘hate’ and tails or the black cards could be ‘love.’”

I HATE joins Kheper Games’ extensive list of adult party games including the What the F*ck? series; Extreme Personal Questions; Acts of Insanity; Making Bad Situations Worse; The Arts of Insanity; the Ladies Night line of games; I Never Have…But I Will; Adult Charades; THC; Think Like a Stoner; Beer! Cards and Dice, and more.
