Ella Paradis Donating to NAACP, #BlackLivesMatter

MIAMI — Ella Paradis has issued a statement in support of #BlackLivesMatter (BLM) and is committing to donating a private amount to the organization, along with the NAACP.

"All of us at Ella Paradis are heartbroken and grieving due to the events polarizing our country," the company said in its message. "Today, we are proud to stand with BLM in their struggle to seek overdue justice and equality under the law."

“Love is the core value that drives Ella Paradis. Love cannot be served without a basic understanding of compassion. Compassion leads us towards equitable treatment in society, autonomy and respect deserved by black children, black mothers and black families. We shall not remain silent in the face of broad societal inequities that threaten the very fabric of American life.  We support the continued march towards freedom being enacted today from every corner of this country.”

To demonstrate its commitment to changing the future for black men and women, Ella Paradis said that it is donating a private amount to the NAACP, and to BLM.

“Our goal is to strengthen the fight against systemic racial injustices like the unjust murder of George Floyd,” the company said. “As a company we are fulfilling the unwritten moral obligation to assist communities as they strive to create a world of decency and love free from oppression. We are joining the blackout movement to show that we are with you and actively supporting your community not just for one day but until there is tangible justice.

“In this day and age, we cannot stand idly by as people are subjected to abuses and murder simply for existing. Today we acknowledge the realities faced by people of color in America and add our voice to the chorus of those that fight every day for a better world and brighter future.”
