French Studio Jacquie & Michel Elite Releases Joker Parody 'Jacky'

PARIS — French Studio Jacquie & Michel Elite have announced the release of their Joker parody, "Jacky." The makers of the 2020 XBIZ Foreign Movie Release of the Year, "Heist," have now turned their eye to last year's DC supervillain blockbuster.

"Jacquie & Michel Elite reaffirms its taste for cinema with 'Jacky,' a Hollywood-inspired fiction," said a rep. "From the expert hands of Luka and Ludovic Dekan, auteurs of numerous and acclaimed pieces besides the XBIZ-awarded film, the new movie toys with the psychological thriller genre. It depicts the penetrating portrait of a freak mentally tormented by its sexual urges."

"From an impoverished part of a sun-deprived metropolis," the rep continued, "a sad clown erected laughter as the last stand against the deep absurdity of our world."

"Devoured by urges as premature as they are irrepressible, the very disturbed William, a pathetic buffoon, makes up his own alter ego, Jacky the clown, the quintessence of deviant virility. Between fantasy and reality, Jacky gives in to the sexual frenzy that consumes him, taking his revenge against those who made him a circus freak," the rep added.

"Jacky" stars Euro performers Vince Karter as William/Jacky, Pascal White as a perverted circus mogul, Lucy Heart as a sadistic succubus, Emma Klein as a lurid television host and Jay Snakes as a manly entertainer whom women can’t resist.

The film co-stars Florane Russell and Stacy Bloom, according to the rep, "two Slav beauties who fight over the hero in a threesome made of sheer sensuality."

The production "spared no expense to set the action in an outstanding scenery that perfectly convey the insanity-filled atmosphere the story hatches, from the derelict subway tunnel Jacky uses as his own depraved haven, to the TV set where no excess is forbidden, by the cut-throat alleys of a disenchanted megalopolis."

The film will also premiere on French TV on Saturday, June 20 at midnight, on the Canal+ station.
