Lora Haddock DiCarlo to Guest on 'Sex Tech Connect' This Weekend

LOS ANGELES — Lora Haddock DiCarlo will appear as a special guest of "Sex Tech Connect" on Sunday, a teleconferencing event series organized by the recently formed networking group for the sex tech and adult retail industries, and professionals involved with sexuality research, journalism and the arts.

The group meets Sunday at 1 p.m. (PDT) for "Virtual Brunch, Happy Hour or Late Night Drink." Last week's guest was Buck Angel.

DiCarlo is the founder and CEO of the company that bears her name. Lora DiCarlo "quickly rose to success and international attention after receiving a coveted robotics innovation award from the Consumer Technology Association for its first product, the Osé device," a rep explained. "When the award was rescinded, a critical public conversation about gender equity in tech was initiated and the company has continued to champion the cause of women's sexual health."

Adult industry attorney Maxine Lynn founded Sex Tech Connect.

"We are thrilled to host Lora," said Lynn. "She has so many absolutely amazing experiences to draw from. I believe that the effect of this community will extend far into the future, strengthening the bonds of people in the industry, seeding new partnerships and providing the insights of thought leaders for all to use in their own way."

During Sunday's event, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with DiCarlo and network with industry peers.

"I am so stoked to be a guest of 'Sex Tech Connect!' There is so much for us to cover and I can’t wait to share some insider information on how we’re navigating this pandemic with such fire — and hopefully a little grace," enthused DiCarlo. "More than ever we need support and collaboration within this community during these uncertain times, and what better person to host such an event than a badass like Maxine."
