NEW YORK — Aubrey Kate is celebrating her Transcendence Award at the 2020 TEAs, awarded this past Sunday during their online event.
The award is sponsored by noted plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair.
“I’m so honored to be this year’s Transcendence Award recipient,” said Kate. “Especially to have it presented by both Dr. Sinclair and Jessica Fox, two individuals I greatly admire for their work in our community. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given in 2020 and how the industry is evolving to include more and more trans performers.”
“I look forward to seeing what the future holds, not just for myself but for my trans sisters and brothers making a name for themselves,” Kate added. “We need more trans representation and more trans stories told.”
