Eugene, Oregon's As You Like It Boutique Re-Opening Today

EUGENE, Ore. — The adult retail boutique As You Like It in Eugene, Oregon has announced it will re-open today following "stay-at-home" measures due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The store will operate from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Free curbside pickup service is available; free delivery is also available for all orders over $50 using the promotional code "socialdistancing" at checkout online.

"While we are overjoyed to be open to the public once again, we also want you to feel safe shopping with us," explained a representative. "Please know that we are still taking extreme care to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community."

"Our cleaning procedures not only meet, but exceed the CDC guidelines for clean spaces, and our staff will continue to maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene for as long as COVID-19 is a risk to our community," said the rep.

A personal sanitizing station is set up just inside the front door. In-store customers will be limited to four at a time; if the store is at capacity, chairs are provided outside, at a safe distance, to allow customers to sit and wait to enter.

"Our staff will be wearing masks while serving you," noted the rep. "We ask that all customers bring masks and wear them while in our store. If you do not have a mask, a disposable mask will be provided for you. You may also choose to purchase a cloth mask at cost from us. If you plan to try on lingerie, gender-affirming products, or other clothing, please shower before coming to shop. Any clothing item that is tried on and not purchased will be pulled from the sales floor for several days to prevent spread of germs."

"Since our in-person events have been postponed for the immediate future, we have converted our event space into a gender-affirming, resource and lingerie space," the rep continued. "This will allow for more customers to shop at once while maintaining safe social distancing."

Private shopping hours, particularly for the elderly and vulnerable populations, and essential workers, are available from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m.

Book private shopping time by using the "Book Now" button on Facebook or by calling or texting (541) 606-0553.

As You Like It is located at 1655 W. 11th Avenue in Eugene.
