Evil Angel Celebrates Wins at the 2020 TEAs

LOS ANGELES — Evil Angel is celebrating their wins for Best DVD and Best Producer (Aiden Starr), and also former contract star Aubrey Kate’s Transcendence Award, at the 2020 Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs).

Presented last Sunday as an online event after the originally planned live extravaganza was cancelled due to pandemic precautions, the TEAs still managed to laud the year’s finest achievements in trans porn, with guests, nominees and winners appearing from their homes.

Making her Evil Angel filmmaking debut in 2019, Lena Moon (aka Lena Kelly) created “TransNasty,” which tied for the Best DVD award.

“The multi-talented Ms. Moon financed, produced and directed the movie, shooting the footage herself when she wasn’t performing on-camera,” said a studio rep. “She edited her project and demonstrated impressive chops with all manner of creative jobs.”

Moon stated she is “especially happy that ‘TransNasty’ won Best DVD because it was just such an amazing experience to have my vision brought to life with all of the amazing people who helped make it happen. To have it received as it was just warms my heart!”

Of her two other wins, Moon said that “winning the Fan Choice Award was also so, so special to me because I just love my fans so much and feel like we really won it together! And hey, winning Best Internet Personality was super-cool, too!”

Evil Angel founder John Stagliano described Moon as “brilliant." Her new movie, “Tranimals,” out soon, “seals the deal.”

Evil Angel filmmaker Aiden Starr won the TEAs trophy for Best Producer. The director of such series as “Hot For Transsexuals,” “TS Gangbangs” and “My TS Girlfriend” reacted to the news by expressing her thanks to the TEAs “for recognizing all of my hard work. I am proud to be a longtime supporter of the TEAs. Everyone at Grooby does such an amazing job putting on a spectacular show every year to celebrate our wonderful industry!”

The annual Transcendence Award also celebrates a performer that has been an ambassador for the trans adult industry, and the 2020 honor went to former Evil Angel contract star Aubrey Kate.

“Since Evil Angel made Aubrey the first TS contract star ever in porn, the blonde stunner has had a huge influence on modern trans erotica,” enthused the rep.
