pjur Marks World Hand Hygiene Day With 'pjur Desinfect'

LUXEMBOURG — pjur is marking World Hand Hygiene Day, a recent designation by the World Health Organization, with pjur Desinfect for skin and hands.

The recently launched item offers "quick and safe, hygienic cleaning without alcohol," a company rep explained. For ideal hygienic disinfection, place a 3 ml amount in the dry palm of the hand, rub it evenly into the hands for at least 30 seconds and do not rinse away. Remember to include the back of the hand and the fingertips.

"pjur Desinfect does not use alcohol, as alcohol-based products dry out hands frequently, making them cracked and brittle, making them more susceptible to bacteria and viruses," noted the rep. "It is also pH-neutral, skin-friendly, free of perfume and microplastics and registered in line with Germany’s Biocide Notification Ordinance. Thanks to its handy design, the 100ml bottle is practical for on the go and absolutely leak-proof."

For retail support, pjur has developed a point-of-sales kit to assist customers in their compliance with hygiene protocols. The four-part kit includes: a "Please disinfect here" notice; a notice that displays individual steps for ideal hand disinfection; a prism display that can be placed next to a disinfection pump dispenser; and a sticker summarizing three crucial hygiene measures: maintain physical distancing standards, wear a face mask and disinfect one's hands.

The kit will be automatically added to every order of pjur Desinfect free-of-charge; contact a sales representative for additional details.
