LOS ANGELES — Ivy Lebelle is returning to her bikini bar roots by appearing this Sunday on The Dirty Dayshift, a virtual special themed around legendary Hollywood strip joint Jumbo’s Clown Room and the 1980s.
As many Lebelle fans know, she was a dancer at Jumbo's Clown Room before her adult career took off, and is still an avid patron of the establishment.
“The Dirty Dayshift revival takes the beloved tradition of Happy Hour with exotic dancers beyond club walls to anywhere with a digital view,” said Scarlett Kapella, aka Violet, founder of the virtual event.
“In the wake of our new reality, sex workers of all kinds are adapting and getting more and more creative with how they can do what they love and still social distance,” said a rep. “And thus, the virtual version of Jumbo’s Clown Room is being brought to you weekly for the perfect Sunday Happy Hour, featuring many of your favorite Jumbo’s dancers as well as some special guests.”
For this Sunday, the organizers are telling patrons to “think ‘Miami Vice.’”
Each week, an Instagram flyer features the room number and info on how to find "the club." The room is password-protected, and the password is given out shortly before the stream starts.
