LOS ANGELES — Cam star Wes Myers is marking his first studio shoot with "A Tantric Hookup," opposite Thyle Knoxx, for all-male label Himeros.tv.
"Rather than use Grindr out of boredom, Thyle sets an intention to have hot, passionate sex," reads the promotional tease. "He cleans up his living space, plays the guitar and gets into a comfortable headspace. He opens the app, has fun chatting with guys — and then invites Wes to his house. He closes the app and focuses on the fun he’s about to have."
His use of the hookup app is "markedly different" than what many men experience.
"We may be searching for validation. Or to fill a void of loneliness. Maybe we’re looking to feel loved or worthy of attention. Just bringing attention to our use of Grindr can be a powerful tantric experiment," the text notes. "But Thyle’s Grindr use comes from a different, more empowered place. If the law of attraction has any basis in reality, he knows that energy tends to attract energy in the same form; as such, Thyle is attracting similarly mindful, centered, passionate lovers. And that’s exactly what he gets when Wes arrives at his door."
