CalExotics Offering Free Coloring Pages During the Pandemic

ONTARIO, Calif. — CalExotics is offering free "adult" coloring pages during the pandemic.

The coloring pages, which feature the black-and-white outlines of vibrators, adult toys and other CalExotics graphics, are available for people over the age of 18 that may be looking for a new and calming activity during this time of uncertainty.

The pages, which are being promoted on CalExotics' social media, can be downloaded here.

"Now more than ever, it's important for our customers and followers to find ways to calm down, relax and be present for themselves and others," said Nichole Grossmann, director of marketing at CalExotics. "For some, that may mean taking a long walk outside, drawing a bubble bath, or scheduling time for sex or masturbation. For others, that may very well mean sitting down for 30 minutes to color — or any combination of those things."

Citing the Cleveland Clinic, the company says coloring can be therapeutic for adults who are experiencing stress because it helps relax their brains. It does this by bringing attention to the present moment, similar to meditation, and provides a low-stakes activity with no real consequence.

"Masturbation has also been proven to regulate stress and reduce anxiety," added Grossmann. "And while masturbation is our area of expertise, CalExotics wanted to provide another thoughtful and free option for people to de-stress during this time as a sign of unity. We're all in this together."

CalExotics also announced a coloring contest on social media in conjunction with the new coloring pages. CalExotics' followers who submit their masterpieces using hashtag #calexoticscoloringcontest and tag the company, three friends and their favorite adult store, will be entered to win their favorite product from the collections featured on the coloring pages (Naughty Bits, Hype, Mini Marvels and California Dreaming). The contest will end on April 28 at 12 a.m. (PDT).
