Ella Paradis Offers Free Vibrators During Coronavirus Lockdown

MIAMI — Online retailer Ella Paradis is giving away its newly released vibrator, dubbed Ella’s BOB (Battery Operated Boyfriend), to anyone in the U.S. that is on lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The vibrator, which is originally priced at $49.99, is available for free with paid shipping and handling ($9.99 plus tax).

Many major cities in the U.S. have mandated bars and restaurants to close, large-scale events are cancelled, and companies are requiring employees to work from home — “leaving those single not only completed isolated, but with very little hope of maintaining any sort of dating life during this pandemic,” the company said.

Citing the negative effects of stress and anxiety, Ella Paradis says it wants to promote masturbation for the release of oxytocin, which could strengthen the immune system and prevent feelings of depression.

“Our goal as a company has always been to deliver pleasure, and people need some pleasure right now more than ever,” Ella Paradis CEO Tino Dietrich explained. “Which is why we believe it is our duty as a company to help people anyway that we can!”

Ella’s Battery-Operated Boyfriend is a G-spot vibrator with seven vibration patterns and three different speed functions. Made from ABS plastic it is also IPX4 rated waterproof. This product also requires two AAA batteries, and they are not included with the product.

Each customer is only eligible to redeem one free vibrator, and this is only available to the first 1,000 customers.
