LOS ANGELES — Mariah Paris Balenciaga will be the opening act at the Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs) on March 15.
The awards are taking place at the Avalon in Hollywood. On Monday, the TEAs announced that Kylie Sonique Love would be the headlining act.
"Being truly fabulous is about having confidence in who you are and knowing your worth," said RuPaul's Drag Race breakout star Balenciaga. "It’s an honor to perform at the TEAs in the spirit of celebrating those who are truly fabulous."
TEAs Mistress of Ceremonies Domino Presley enthused about Balenciaga.
"Mariah is many things," said Presley. "But most importantly to me, she's my ballroom and drag mother. I've been watching Mariah perform for years and am always amazed by her talents and ability to command attention from any and every crowd."
