Aussie Retailer RandyFox Touts Survey Naming Top Sex Toy Consumers

SYDNEY — Australian online retailer RandyFox.au is promoting an internal survey that shows married people make up the largest segment of sex toy consumers.

For the "Randy Sex Toy Survey," the company surveyed just over 10,000 of their shoppers. According to their reported results, 43.73 percent of their shopper base are married individuals. The next largest groups are those who are "single or dating" (27.06 percent), living with their partner but not married (22.27 percent) and those in an "open relationship" (6.94 percent).

"The results showing that the majority of our shoppers are either married or in a serious relationship is fascinating to see," said RandyFox Chief of Operations Chris Joseph. "It definitely shows that couples are increasingly seeking to spice things up in the bedroom with their partners, purchasing adult toys that they can use together. If you’re in it for the long run, trying new things and communicating with your partner is a must."
