2020 LALExpo Draws Biz to Colombia for Networking, Parties

CALI, Colombia — LALExpo organizers Juan Carlos and Anthony "AJ" Rivera are celebrating the success of the seventh annual edition that reportedly drew over 3,800 attendees February 17-19 to the Convention Center of the Valle Pacifico in Cali, Colombia.

Performer and entrepreneur Luna Corazón and Colombian actor Fernando Sólorzano served as emcees.

Although LALExpo was initially a collaboration between two leading cam studios, the expo has grown to include a variety of market segments, including pleasure products and clip stores, and its seminars cover a range of topics, among them "legal [issues], marketing and logistics representation, traffic [and] payments, publicity, plastic surgery and mental health," a rep explained.

In his opening remarks on the first day of LALExpo, Rivera expressed his gratitude for the industry support.

"LALExpo is an ambitious project, but it’s also something very close to our hearts. We have a deep love and respect for each member of our industry. It can be a very complicated business but if we stick together and support each other, as Latinos but also as adult business owners, we’ll be able to move forward and exchange with other established international brands," he said.

"The main idea behind LALExpo has always been to bring people together and join our efforts to improve business developments and models' global work conditions," he concluded. "We are very thankful for all the support that everyone has shown since the beginning."

The expo concluded with the LALExpo Awards. Honorees included Chaturbate (Best Overall Cam Site); Stripchat (Best European Cam Site); CAM4 (Best North American Cam Site); BongaCams (Best International Cam Site); CM Studios (Best Latin American Studio); ManyVids (Best Clip Site); Amaranta Group Agency (Best LGBT Cam Studio); Night Prowl (Best European Studio); and Xlovecash (Best Affiliate Program).

BlueEyesLexi earned Best Female Cam Model honors, while Dorian Lux won the award for Best Male Cam Model.
