PHILADELPHIA — “The ponytail returns.” Director Ed Powers is trumpeting his return to filmmaking for VOD platform HotMovies.com.
The new series, “Sex With Grandpa Ed Powers,” is the first new project in six years for the gonzo iconoclast and marks the debut of his “updated persona,” a rep notes, of “Grandpa Ed Powers.”
He costars alongside ingénue Lulu Chu and Tucker Stevens.
“Embarking on a new road has always fascinated me. Women have always fascinated me. Their power, presence, spirituality and sexuality,” Powers enthused. “Money was always my least interest. My love for women came first. Now, as ‘Grandpa Ed Powers,’ I get to love and get the love once more. There is a reason why the word ‘come’ is in comeback. I’ll get to come and come again.”
Powers has partnered with Brian Berke of AMA Modeling on the series.
“He is older and wiser, but just as horny,” explained the rep. “With Brian playing matchmaker, they plan to shoot four-to-five brand new, exciting girls a month.”
The filmmaker praised HotMovies as “critical in helping us edit the movie and prepare it for release.”
