LOS ANGELES — Viral video sensation-turned-adult star Kendra Sunderland is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the video that put her on the map, "Library Girl."
In January 2015, Sunderland, then 19 years old, posted a 31-minute video of herself at Valley Library in Corvallis, Oregon to Pornhub. In the video she flashes the camera and then masturbates while being careful not to be caught. A few days and 260,000 views later, Pornhub took the video down. But the damage had been done. The Oregon State Police arrested Sunderland; she paid a $1,000 fine and was released.
The headlines led to a spread in Penthouse as their May 2015 Pet of the Month, and eventually a contract with Vixen, for whom she became the first Vixen Angel of the Year in 2017. Since then she's become one of the biggest stars in adult entertainment.
"I can’t believe it’s already been five years! Time flies so fast," Sunderland exclaimed. "That video changed my life and I’m forever grateful for it. I’ve gotten to do so many cool things because of it and I’m not done yet."
