2020 Prowler Awards Announce Show Venue, Hosts

LONDON — The 2020 Prowler Awards, honoring the European and international gay adult industry, has announced show details and other tidbits for this summer’s ceremony, now in its seventh year.

The event will unspool June 4 at Fire nightclub in Vauxhall, Central London, bookended by a pre-party at The Eagle nightclub on June 3 and a post-show bash.

Sister Roma, billed as "the most-photographed nun in the world," will make her U.K. debut as host, joining Rob Wilde, an adult performer and emcee known as the "king of kink culture."

Directrix and DJ Chi Chi LaRue will join Sister Roma in flying from the United States to provide entertainment alongside “top variety acts throughout the main show,” enthused a Prowler Awards rep, “plus a sensational halftime event that will challenge that of the Super Bowl.”

This year’s event will include a "new, expansive open-air red carpet which is, without question, the biggest around with bars, entertainers, interview spots, international press and a live broadcast,” said the rep. “It’s a great night and, by far, the best opportunity for you to meet, have a selfie and drink with your favorite, sexy international porn stars.”

Nominations will open to public voting on Thursday. Read XBIZ's coverage of last year's event here.
