MISSOULA, Mont. — On February 20, indie comics Oneshi Press will launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund printing of 'Tracy Queen, Volume 2: Dangerous Experiments,' the followup to Lynsey G's sex-positive graphic novel about a warrior-turned-camgirl.
After a successful $9.5K crowdfunding campaign in late 2018, Lynsey G's self-described "epic, empowering, sex-positive, sci-fi graphic novel" returns with "new friends, worse enemies, deeper backstories, more fabulous fights and even sexier sex scenes."
“With other sex-positive comics like Tina Horn’s 'SFSX' and Tim Seely’s 'Money Shot' making themes of sex work and empowerment the norm in sequential art, it’s time for the OG love warrior herself—Tracy Queen—to come back to the stage with Volume 2 of this wild ride of a graphic novel! ” said Lynsey G. “We’re beyond excited to fund-raise the next issue of Tracy’s butt-kicking, pansexual adventures.”
'Dangerous Experiments' sees Tracy bored by the monotony of growing her fan base with webcam shows, even as she’s under surveillance from her crime-boss grandfather, and growing scrutiny from the adult entertainment establishment.
"And, honestly, she’s totally sick of her talking-raccoon roommate’s coke habit," added a rep.
Veteran illustrator Jayel Draco is responsible for the art, Cardinal Rae for the lettering, and illustrator Tangmo Cecchini created the cover.
The Kickstarter will continue until March 20, and will seek to raise $4.5K for printing and distribution of, in the words of the rep, "this weird celebration of indie creation, empowered sexuality — and kicking ass."
Rewards will include print and digital copies of both volumes of the saga, paper dolls of the title character, art prints, stickers, other Oneshi Press comics, and more.
